This Hitty Sissy measures 3 and 7/8 inches tall, and wears a necklace of miniscule coral-colored vintage seed beads. Lilac is the hardest wood I have ever carved, but it was worth it. The smell was lovely when she was sanded! Most of this wood is a pleasant tan, but there are occasional wavy segments of cream and pinky lavender. This doll features these pretty segments of grain on her right arm, thigh, and shoulder.
