If you are
not a woodworker, fabric can be a great medium for creating a beautiful,
but less expensive Hitty doll for yourself or a friend. Creating your
Hitty in an old-fashioned style or antiquing her adds an extra dimension
to your doll art, making her a tribute both to Hitty and to cloth
dollmaking traditions. I have enjoyed creating many fabric Hittys
and although I no longer make fabric dolls for sale, I hope my galleries
will bring you enjoyment and inspiration in your own textile adventures.
